I was almost tempted to name it, "Indiana Jones and the Lost Temple of The Bad-Breath Stone Lion-Dragon-Looking Thing"
or something
but the title is named after the song "Daylight Dies" by Killswitch Engage instead. haha

This is my final project for my composition & painting class. The entire time of this class was how to learn to oil paint, but for our final project, our teacher allowed us to choose any theme/concept we wanted, in any medium we want. Of course I chose digital....but why choose Indiana Jones of all things? Part of it is probably the hype of the new Indiana Jones movie comming out this year, and I'm a big-ass sucker for Indiana Jones and archeology-adventure kind of things. So I gave a shot of creating my own kind of concept that would have looked like it could be in an Indiana Jones movie.

This picture was actually really fun to work on, and it went though alot of stages of development. I learned alot from this painting class and tried to apply what I learned on this picture, so I tried to use as least layers as I can and concentrate on color-theory kinda techniques.

Special thanks to =marika, ~TonyWcK and others who gave me helpful tips and suggestions on this :] This picture is not due till monday, so if there is any helpful critique you have that will improve this picture until then, please offer it, as much as you can *_*; I wanted to keep working on this but I was afraid of it being overworked or something, and I have other projects I need to finish T_T *dies*
