Oh, man, you've got me thinking...
If it HAD been in the 20's, then Christian's depression early in the film could have been during the great depression, and Satine's death could have occurred in late autumn when snow is just starting to fall and the whole thing just got WAY symbolic and GAH.
This is beautiful. I'm sorry, I'll be quiet now.

This is stunning! Ah and how you altered the movie to fit a different time period was so creative and effective. My favorite panel is the one int he lower left, mainly because of her hair style and how classy and intriguiing this piece is. I wish the image was larger, there is so much detail hidden. This is a wonderful work!

It's neat how you have resumed the movie with those 4 pictures. Moulin Rouge being one of my favorite movie I can't help but fave this drawing. Also, it might seem odd but the picture I prefer the most would be the the bottom right. I like how you've portayed the Mouling Rouge now deserted and left forgotten when we are acustomated to see it colorful and crowded.
