i don't know where to begin on this illustration...in terms of what i'm NOT happy with x_x perspective killed me a bit...and it still looks like a bit in the rough stage..ugh
will most likely keep working on it in the future...but for now i have to finish this for a class project due in about an hour haha. i chose to do a scene of what a setting may look like from my original (fake game) story "Cape of Spirits". This scene centers on the character Ayato Jinsei, and this shows a bit about where he lives, where he comes from, etc. I'm still working on the backgrounds and settings of each character so this is a bit vague for now...

makes me feel like an idiot to not choose something easier to work with...]:

ohhhh this is freaking beautiful...
although it seems like a rough sketch it's a detailed sketch and like some awesome concept art of some sort of game.. i am in love.

This is beautiful! Even if the perspective is a little off, it's still an amazing and interesting piece, and very imaginative. The composition is great. I love the colors you used, and how rough and visible your brushstrokes are, it creates some very appealing textures.

I like the sketchy scratchy look of the color,reminds me of those paintings whose surfaces are just blobs up close,but then become unbelieveably beautiful scenes from afar.I like your character's coat and its coloring : D

Haha, when I first saw the thumbnail I thought "Howl's Moving Castle!" but alas, it is a ship! And a very adventure/story-beckoning one at that. Yeah, I don't think you're perspective is as bad as you may think. It's got a charm, indeed. Then again, all your works tend to. Very intersting concept, I know the final product will be great!
